These guys are very classy, incredibly helpful and friendly, and provided a warm environment for our luncheon after a family funeral. Wonderful service and a great atmosphere. Slightly tight quarters, but not so much that it was a problem. Wonderful experience

We held a small wedding and reception here recently. Being from out of town, I was initially hesitant, as I was going mainly off of the reviews I had read - I hadn't eaten here yet. We couldn't have been more pleased: Mark, the owner is very engaged in serving and treating his guests like long time friendsThe staff clearly mirror Mark's exampleThe food was absolutely top notch, certainly a great value.The restaurant itself has great ambiance to it.Like others have said previously, this is a gem in an unexpected locale. Having never been to Diso's, i drove by it the first time. A true people.person, Mark provided great attention to detail, incredibly good food, and a really enjoyable, relaxed dining experience. Mark's people skills are exceptional, and whether going here for a quick dining experience, or a relaxed evening, followed by lengthy conversation with your tablemates, Mark and his staff will meet your needs. Without question, Diso's provided the best dining experience I've ever had in Lorain! I will return soon.

I had the chicken breast w/glazed carrots. So tasty! Strawberry spinach salad was lights out. Owner super friendly and personable. A jewel in Lorain. Will definitely come back!

We love this place. We have never had bad service or bad food. Their steaks are better Morton's. Their homemade desserts are too die for. Yes it is pricey but honestly not bad at all. We had appetizers, salads, steaks, desserts and two bottles of wine for $130. That would've been double at Morton's and it was worth every penny. They also have cheaper options available. Make sure to make reservations. This place is amazing!

Wowza! Happened upon Diso's while staying in Lorain for a few days. The place is completely unassuming on the outside, but it was one of the most delicious meals I've had in my life! We tried the skins, burger, filet, and torte...all were fantastic! Too bad they are closed on Sundays because we didn't get a second chance to go back before heading out of town. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back!

The food is fantastic and the staff is great ! We started off with the potato skins appetizers and were pleasantly surprised with Diso's unique and flavorfull approach - delicious !!! Next up was the main course. The steak, potatoes and green beans are amazing - the best steak I've ever had !!! I can't say enough good things about the green bean - full of flavor !!! The deserts are equally delicious - I recommend the upside down pineapple cake !!! 🍍 Very pleasant environment with a nice cozy feel and a staff who are friendly and accommodating :)

I had the veal and my wife had the airline chicken. Both were amazing. Our first time coming here. We will definitely be back. Just a pointer though...if you are making a reservation make sure to request the dining room. We were in the bar area and the atmosphere is not what we wanted. No complaints though. Food was top notch. Best meal that we have had out in a long time.

Friendly employees. Small selection on the menu. I loved that it was warm inside. Food was cooked very well. Definitely felt like a cardigan/golf club type of crowd. Food on the pricier side. Overall I'm impressed with this place especially since I'm a born and raised citizen of Lorain. It's nice to have fine dining with a down to earth environment option in town rather than having to drive out of town. Came here for my birthday dinner. #LetsGuide

some atmosphere, a bit up from chain restaurants, yet casual & not distracting. They know how to fire up a great steak. I prefer escargots, however, excellent service, attention to detail & presentation.

We are never disappointed here. The best of the best in all of Lorain county. Bring your taste for finer things and friends who will thank you for the very best experience. Mark is a prince among men. Hurry in. So you hurry back.

Diso's was wonderful. It was dark and small, which made it a great, intimate spot for a night out. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back.

Very good place for drink

Good was fantastic and cooked perfectly. Great beer selection too.

Not a very big menu selection. Appetizers were good, but main course average at best. Price for food is about right, but drink prices outrageous. I understand part of a $6 Budweiser is for atmosphere, but there is no atmosphere...TVs had music info like a karaoke night, steel bars on windows, and HVAC falling apart. Better to go to Cleveland if going to spend $100 for dinner for 2.

It has been a while since we ate here, but now we remember why we like it so much.My Daughter had the fried Mushroom appetizer. These are not the fried mushrooms you get anywhere else. They are great! Thin slices, perfectly breaded (not battered) and fried just right. The she had the Salmon which she said was quite good.My wife and I had Diso burgers. These burgers ar 10 oz house gound filet and they taste like it. Possibly the best burgers I have had. Cooked perfectly as we ordered.Friendly (very), personal service rounds out the experience.

The food is AMAZING!

One of my favorites! Dont let the area or the look of the outside fool you, you will get a delicious gourmet meal here. Great place for date night, it's small and quiet, wonderful service almost always from the owner.

Delicious filet!

I love the filet. The lyonaisse potatoes are really good too. I also tried an appetizer of Thai chili shrimp scampi that was really good and spicy. The basil was a very nice authentic Thai touch. Very good food and experience.

Best food in Lorain county, I love this place

Found this spot completely randomly and was impressed from the first bite. I've been to the highly advertised steak houses in Cleveland and they can't even compare to the quality and price here. The single best steak I've ever enjoyed and cannot recommend this place enough.

Very nice place to eat..clean..and comfortable atmosphere.The food was amazing..I had the chicken and asparagus...perfect!!

The food was Innovative and absolutely delicious, if very expensive. It was my choice to go there and pay those prices. The reason I removed a star is that the owner was inattentive and acted like he didn't care whether we were there or not. I didn't expect a red carpet rolled out, but I thought he was kind of rude.

Excellent food and service! Don't be fooled by the location or the outside of the building. This is a must go to for an upscale dinner

By far, the best meal I have ever had. Service and atmosphere were outstanding. The owner is gracious and accommodating and the chef is amazing. It is a small, cozy, welcoming environment and I can not recommend it highly enough. You won’t regret it!
